Update: Talked to my doctor and go checked out. I also told them I only noticed the spotting twice and nothing since. Because I was pretty pale, he came to the conclusion that I was dehydrated. I'm to rest, drink lots of water and keep as cool as I can. Sadly keeping cool is proving to be difficult. Our A/C Unit for the house is really old and the vent work in the house is terrible. So cool rags and fans for me. So far so good. Thank you everyone!

Definitely check things out with your Dr. I had bleeding, both light and heavy, during DS2's pregnancy. I also had a complete placenta previa. Regardless, the doctors like to know.

Definitely check with your Dr, just to be super safe. But I actually had a lot of full bleeding with my now 18 month old. First second and third trimesters. It was like a period and would stop after 3-5 days. No one ever knew why, but she's perfectly healthy!

@Gigglefits: it could be from dehydration if you've been in the heat. Hopefully that's it!

@MaryM: Will do. My fiance thinks it may be due to the heat, I'm not sure about that though. It's been in the 90's in my area for the past three days.

Hi - Pregnancy nightmares are the worst! I had some light spotting when I was pregnant with my now 4 month old in the second trimester - it was very scary to me at the time. Did they do any internal examinations at your appointment? Recent sex and/or exercise can also cause this.

Since I had my baby, I have had 3 other pregnant friends mention that they're having light bleeding - some in the first trimester and some in the second. It is a lot more normal than I ever thought.

Hope this helps

Today I noticed some spotting when using the restroom. As of right now it's not enough to show on a pad, but I am worried. This is my first and I'm 25+6 weeks along. I had my appointment today and everything was fine until I got home around 3p.m. That's when I first noticed. There is no pain or abnormal discomfort. I will be keeping a close eye on things as well as making a phone to my ob/gyn in the morning. What's really got me worried though is that around two this morning I had a nightmare where I was bleeding uncontrollably and thought I was having a miscarriage. Man I hate nightmares.
