It worked really well and was super comfortable. I have the complete all seasons. They are fairly flat hikes but really in the canyons, not paved trails, and it has gone well. It wasn't a steep hike at all, just rocky and uneven. Plus for some reason when back carrying T's diapers seem to leak up the front. So my back is sweaty and smells like pee! Lovely. The worst part about hiking with something like the Ergo/lillebaby/etc is that there is no air-flow between you and the kid, so it gets hot and sweaty REALLY fast. Something like an Osprey or Kelty is nice because the frame sits baby up higher (they can see better) and keeps you separated so you are both cooler.
