@bhbee: I'm never going back on birth control. So I am hoping these periods lighten up quick because I'm just not at all wanting to deal with changing a tampon multiple times a day.

@agold: ugh I'm sorry. I am so afraid of that happening to me too. this super light one is too good to be true. at least for me though, when I've dealt with the murder scene periods they haven't lasted forever . . . it just felt like it when it was happening :bummed:

I'm just so over periods, but all the birth control methods that get rid of them (or mostly do) seem to have drawbacks so I guess I'll just wait and see.

@bhbee: After my second baby, my first PP period was very light. I was so happy about that. Then.... murder scene for the next two months. I'm praying the next one is light. Ugh. I seriously thought I was miscarrying after that second one, which was my heaviest period ever by far. And then the next one was the same. I'm dying. I will quite literally die if this is my new normal.

I got mine at 15 months when I fully stop weaning and I remember it being light and wonky one month then actually pretty much fully back to normal after that, with a little spotting. And funny you post this, I'm having some spotting at 6m pp I think bc K is sleeping 12 hours a night 👏😄

I head my first PP period at 4 weeks PP (bled for the first 3 weeks PP) 😭, it was pretty normal for me, and they became progressively lighter until they were down to 2-3 days with light-medium as the worst of it. My cycles also shortened from about 31 days to 25/26 on average.

*This was all pre fertility meds though, those totally put me out of whack.

I don’t really remember the first pp period with my first, but with my second, and after my d&c for a missed miscarriage, it was (sorry tmi) like a murder scene for months.

Last baby is almost 11m and AF just showed her face. I noted ewcm so I was expecting her (can’t turn that ttc brain off!) but it was so light, like could have just used liners for about 4 days. But definitely some red and at the right time post Ewcm.

I know pp af can be all over the place - but if yours started light did it stay that way? Or what came next? I would so love to skip the super heavy months, regular period are bad enough!! I’m basically ready for menopause now that we’re done :silly:
