@pinkcupcake: we have a Bumbleride indie. The maxi cosi adapters work with the Nuna and it popped right on

@pinkcupcake: I have an uppababy vista, the maxi cosi has really easy adapters that go with the stroller, so I used it a lot. The only thing about the maxi cosi that I noticed compared to other brands, is that there isn't as much width inside the seat because of all the padding, so once Ds got a bit bigger it was a snug fit. I had already switched to the convertible in my vehicle, but my mom was still using it when she was watching him. Not a huge deal in the long run though!

@jill_a55: good to know that you love it! Do you have a stroller frame for it? Any complaints? This and the Nuna Pipa are the two big contenders for us.

@Littlebit7: thanks for your insight! And same question - which stroller frame do you have for it? We are leaning slightly more towards the Maxi because it's almost $150 cheaper right now but I really love how the Nuna looks. When do you think you will outgrow it?

Nuna pipa is da bomb dot com. Easiest install ever (i mean 4 seconds flat), has a load leg, super lightweight, dream drape is incredibly useful. LO never cries in the car. We have taken ten 7 hour+ drives and she sleeps the entire way. I actually don't want to move to a convertible. Ever.
We have flown with it as well and it's great
We have a 2 flight walk up apt and I've had to lug that thing for a while. Of course once you add a heavy baby it gets heavy but the seat itself is wonderfully light

We have an older Graco that is very light (though my specific model is discontinued). But make sure it has other features you want, like being able to easily adjust the harness. My Graco doesn't have harness straps which I find annoying because the straps leave red marks on the baby's neck. But I appreciate how light it is when I'm carrying it up and down two flights of stairs.

I have the maxi cosi and love it. I went into BuyBuyBaby and lifted up every car seat to see how light they were before I decided on one. I can't imagine carrying a baby around inside some of the heavier ones!

We're looking at the Maxi Cosi for DH's tiny car but I was surprised that the Graco Snugride is only 7.5lbs!

any recommendations on a super lightweight infant bucket car seat? So far, the maxi cosi mico ap and nuna pipa sound like they are the lightest at around 7.7 lbs.

Getting a lightweight car seat is a big priority for me since I'll be lugging both kids around solo 95% of the time.
