Like is it more greyish/silver than lilac? I painted a living room, *too* purple, and I just didn't like it there or think it would work, and ended up repainting it. I think it'd be the same if I had a purple room and ended up with a boy. After seeing this, I knew I wanted blue-lavender for a boy nursery. While picking colours for our back bedroom, which is my office, we bought a tin of "grey" paint which was, basically, lilac. It wasn't the right colour for the office but it was so pretty, a really silvery lilac. I love it so much...</p> <p>So now, on our journey around the first floor, we've naturally come onto decorating the nursery. We've got to strip the wallpaper off and strip the paint off the woodwork, sand it all down, plaster etc so it does make sense to do this now... and I've decided that I'd love to paint it the pretty lilac colour... but we're not even pregnant yet so we don't know the gender of our future baby....!!!</p> <p>I feel that it's ok to have a lilac nursery for a boy. DH thinks it's a girl's colour.... what do you think?? </p>
