I can't remember exactly when but it was sometime around 6/7/8 months after childbirth. It was definitely the epidural point of entry and it just eventually faded away. It's definitely not muscle pain. It only hurts when I arch my back in one small spot and it feels like a bruise and I may be crazy but I feel like there is a small lump there. Some have said it could be scar tissue. When I was getting the epidural I jumped a little and I had a sharp pain down the left side of my spine so they had to redo it. It was so scary. I blamed it on the epidural at the time, but now looking back I realize it totally could have been a muscle or nerve issue. Most of it I know is aches from holding the baby and stress. However, as the rest of my back gets better, I have noticed there is one spot on my spine that is painful when I stretch back or forward. It feels like a bruise. It occurred to me the other day it could be in the exact spot my epidural went in. I wonder if anyone else has ever experienced this? </p>
