She will be 2.5 this month. </p> <p>I had almost given up on Little People for her but she is now really into playing with the doll house and the little people inside. I think she took a while to get into imaginative play with dolls and such but as soon as she did - she fell head over heels for her little people doll house.</p> <p>Side note - we had put it away for a year when she showed no interest last year. We have the dollhouse, nativity, barn, and car, and then just lots of extra people and animals. She plays with them every day at 21 months. I know some kids LOVE Little People, but mine was not one of them. We have the Princess Castle, Ariel's set, and the Klip Klop horses. I was thinking some Fisher Price Little People because I see them frequently on craigslist and other sites (where we get most of her toys). She is 21 months and we are expecting #2 in June so I don't want to add too many small pieces to our house at this point. </p> <p>Does the Little People line sound like a good fit for us? Is there another line I should consider? </p>
