The part that really got me was the moms reaction to Beth- I never considered that from a mother’s perspective (since I was a tween probably the last time I watched the old movie) and it hit me really hard. Just saw with my DH today and loved it! I cried so many times like honestly mostly because I just thought the movie was so perfect and beautiful.
