At 3 years old, DS was potty trained, could get dressed and slip on his shoes by himself so if my hands weren't free, I could rely on his independence. </p> <p>With the 2 year age gap, I kind of had to force LO#2 into a big girl bed to give up her crib and she was far from potty trained when my youngest arrived. Lol. Thank you :)</p> <p>My oldest was 5 and my second child was 25 months when LO #3 was born and it's been challenging but manageable. LO #3 is seven months old now and we're finally getting into a routine. It's all about juggling and using logic of how to get things accomplished in a timely manner. Like, bath night. For example, when I give baths, I bathe LO#2 while LO#3 is in the pack n' play at the door of the bathroom so I can keep an eye on her, when LO#2 is out, LO#1 can pretty much bathe himself but I still need to watch him. I get LO#2 dressed for bed, brush her teeth and blow dry her hair and then help LO#1 finish up in the bath. When they're done, I bathe #3 in her infant tub because by that time, she's done with playing independently and needs me. I can't wash her first because then she'll be too tired to play independently while I wash the other two! </p> <p>Even though thats an example, it's just how it goes with absolutely every thing.
