My oldest is like this, I'm thinking it's part of his personality and part him being the oldest. When it's not to bad we just try to give him reminders, but when it gets to be much we tell him to cool it or we won't play anymore.

My 4.5 year old tends to get bossy when playing with DH and I, or her little sister. Not always in a rude way, but just "no you can be this person" or "don't do it like that, like this". I always tell her she can't be bossy and she has to let other people play how they want to. She still struggles with this though, and I don't want LO2 picking up on this not so cool habit.

Has your LO gone through a phase like this? Any ideas on how to work on this with my LO?
