I have learned the hard way that no matter how late I put my LO down, he will wake up at the same time in the morning. It's unfortunately because he is fighting bedtime every night and usually fall asleep past 10. If she is content in her crib, I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as she gets a good nap in the middle of the day.

My son did this, for around a year, lol. He's now sleeping in again, to 6 am.

You might try shortening the length of the afternoon nap.

she might just stop. both charlie and olive have had phases where they wake up earlier for a little while and then go back to their regular wakeups. could be just her adjusting to more light in the summer?

LO has been doing this for the past week. We haven't changed her bedtime, because I think it's probably a phase and will fix itself. I think it's due to milestones, teething, and allergies.

For the last 5 nights, LO (21 months) has been waking up almost exactly one hour earlier than normal. She isn't crying. In fact, she is happy and talks to herself and plays in her crib until I decide to go get her.

Since this is looking to be a consistent occurance, does this mean I should delay her bedtime by an hour? Does it work like that?
