It's heart wrenching.</p> <p>I've found for him, he does much better when we show up "late" or right when the classes are walking upstairs. My LO is 50-50 on crying these days. Usually he cries on Mondays (or Tuesdays that feel like Mondays, like today) but he was fine today! Such a good feeling. DS cried every day (except the very first day) since August when he started, until we just got back from Christmas break. I think he missed his friends and he realized how much more fun he had at school, and he's been doing awesome since he started back. Then right before we started a sticker chart, so if she doesn't cry at dropoff she gets a sticker. It must have clicked somehow that it really is ok, and school IS fun because it's working...she even asked to go to school today...it's seriously the best feeling ever. My LO has cried every single day at preschool dropoff since the second day of school, back in the beginning of September. She has made it a good 6-8 school days with no crying. This is huge for her! </p> <p>How is your LO doing with school/daycare dropoff? Are they usually excited to go, or a little more clingy? </p>
