LO just started sleeping in hiscribin his own room a couple weeks ago and I was sad the first couple of nights. We had to do it because he basically outgrew his bassinet!! He literally had about an inch left :( the first couple of nights I would stare about video monitor for a couple minutes before going to bed. I do think it was good because LO is starting to sleep longer at night now :)

I thought I would, but we all slept so much better when she went to her own room because we didn't hear each others noises. It does help to have the video monitor so I can look at her whenever I want now.

Well she stayed in there for a few good hours of sleep, then when she woke to eat I brought her back to our room :S

Going to try again tonight. I think it's much harder on me than it is on her. Sigh.

I was so sad when we moved our LO to the crib in her own room. I think she was around three months. I missed being able to just roll over in bed and peek at her. And she looked so tiny in that huge crib! But I just remind myself how nice it is to have my bedroom back.

I was so sad, I even cried a little the first night. But, I made myself feel better by watching him on the video monitor. I also felt way better the next morning when I realized that he had slept a solid 8 hour stretch and I had gotten the best night's sleep I had in months. :) So, maybe you'll get lucky, too!

That's why we moved LO into her crib at 2 1/2 weeks. I didn't want either of us to get used to her being there next to me.

If it's any consolation, I feel like my LO does sleep much better in the crib than anywhere else. Good luck, mama!

@Coco Bee: I'm not sure if I was ready tonight, I'm still up staring at the monitor. I just hope she gets some really restful sleep so that she's a happier girl.

... And I'm really sad. We've been having some crankiness issues so DH and I decided to start a sleep routine (she's 11 weeks). Part of our routine is putting her down in her crib. Now I'm in bed staring at the empty bassinet next to me and it's making me super sad! Did anyone else have a hard time moving their LO into their own room?
