@andrea - both DH and i felt like zombies! LO went back to her regular sleeping last night. Hurrah!!!

@artbee @chopsuey119 - I am almost sure that the diaper rash was the culprit. Her sudden scream sounded like either fear or pain (horrible sound to hear!). I tried to be extra diligent about cleaning her butt area yesterday, keeping it dry and applying Butt Paste. I just changed her diaper this morning and it doesn't look as pink anymore! Yay! Hopefully it's healing. Twice yesterday just after pooping, she started crying probably from the stinging if poop in rash. My poor baby. =(

Oh no!! My LO did that once and I'm still not exactly sure why.. my guess is that she was overtired because I kept her up too long before putting her down.
If your LO is sensitive to dirty diapers and etc. it might be her diaper rash.. :(
Hope you and your LO got some sleep last night!

Oh no! My LO just got over diaper rash and luckily she was able to sleep right through it. She wasn't fussy during the day either so I don't think it bothered her. Hope you get some sleep soon!

How tiring!! But maybe she just did not feel well last night because of the rash or something else. Hope tonight goes better!

I'm not sure what's going on tonight but LO has been waking every 15-20 minutes since her bedtime at 730! She's 10 weeks and has been sleeping from 8-7 waking 1-2 times a night since she was 4 weeks (I know how lucky I am!).

We tried letting her put herself back to sleep which has worked on other nights where she cries out, but that's not working. I thought maybe she's just going through a growth spurt and nursed her twice, but she still woke up screaming bloody murder a few times after that.

She does have a tiny bit of a beginning of a diaper rash but I started treating it right away this morning with Butt Paste. Would this cause the waking? It didn't bother her all day and she napped well. Any ideas on what might be causing this?
