End bath, as soon as she gets in wash the hair and body and if she gets out say "alright all done no playing" and she will catch on. We had to do this and it worked wonders.

Haha we have the same thing! If he gets out more than once I end bathtime. It leads to a meltdown but oh well.

Is she doing it to be silly and have fun, or does she have a fear of peeing in the tub? After potty training, my daughter seemed to have a fear of accidents and would try to sit to pee more than she really needed to.

If she's just messing around, I say get her a new bath toy, bubbles, etc to encourage her to stay in and praise her for doing so, and/or just end the bath when she is doing all the in-n-out craziness and she will get the point.

Yep! End bath time. After a few days (assuming she likes the bath) she wont be getting out anymore

DD is 22 months old and use to love baths. Lately it's been a struggle. Ever since she learned to get in and out of the tub on her own she keeps doing it OVER AND OVER again. We have her potty chair in the bathroom so right when we put her in the bath she says she needs to pee. So she gets out and runs to the potty. Sometimes she really does pee and sometimes she doesn't, but she will do it over and over again. She just likes to get in and out of the tub non-stop and it's annoying! I tell her she needs to stay in the bath but she doesn't listen. When I try to force her to stay in the bath she'll have a MAJOR meltdown. Has this happened to anyone else??
