I knew from u/s photos she was going to look just like DH. I'm pregnant again, and I can tell this LO is going to look more like me. </p> <p>I think it's a harmless observation. </p> <p>I think I'd be annoyed (for lack of a better word) if: my child was adopted or if I had a bi-racial child and people assumed DH or I were the nanny. I mean who wants to hear that their baby they carried for 9 months and then painfully birthed doesn't look like s/he belong to them? Now I think it's fun to see which kid got whose features and personality traits. I was happy everyone thought he looked like my husband. But the more the grew the more he looked like me compared to baby pics. I hate how I look so that's a giant piece of it,, but I've never had the desire to hear that my daughter looks like me. She got a healthy mix of both sides but most people say she looks just like my MIL. She's stunning, so I'm happy for my daughter ☺️ I'm currently expecting our son in June and more than anything I want a clone of my husband.
