Unfortunately I have to share my experience - my DS was fine in the bath until around 10-11 mos when he suddenly started to HATE them. He would scream and try to fight his way out whenever we put him in the bath. It was pretty abrupt but we couldn't come up with a reason it had started - no traumatic event we could think of. He did the same thing in the shower. We tried all kinds of toys, getting in with him, putting him in a tiny bit at a time, and many other things. He did fine with pools when we went on vacation. This has only JUST resolved about 9 mos later. We have never done daily baths with our kids but we would only dip him in every week or so when he needed it because it was so awful for him and for us. Now he will climb right in with his big brother and doesn't even fuss when we wash his hair. The switch back was pretty abrupt too, we don't know what to make of it.

Do you have bath toys in the tub? Something to distract her while you get her washed?

I was going to suggest a shower too. My son loves taking a shower, we have one of those rain shower handhelds and he is obsessed.

I was going to suggest shower too. Do you have a handheld? What if you let her bathe herself and help her here and there?

Would she let you give her a shower? That's pretty similar to a sprinkler.

My young toddler (14 months) has in the past few months gone from not liking her face washed (but generally enjoying bathtime), to being eager to get out of the bath, to standing and screaming the whole time - it's difficult to even wash her. On the flip side she LOVES pools and sprinklers. She had a few slips in the tub, which may have made her scared?! Any suggestions on how to get her to calm down so she doesn't hurt herself? Getting in with her doesn't help and we don't have another tub for a change of scenery....maybe go back to a baby/toddler tub in another room?
