LO will be 6 months on the 18th, and a very bad sleeper. We have tried it all and resorted to sleep training, tried it for a 5 nights, and it was not working. I'm hoping his sleep will naturally get better on his own, but I'm not holding my breath, it would be a miracle if it does!

My little love, has always been awful at 5 months we are still at 3-5 wake-ups per night. I'm hoping 6 months brings a change!

DD is 8 months and still wakes up 2x per nt. That is an improvement from before when she would wake 4x per night. I hear it will get better.... ;-)

My lo was always a good night sleeper but she used to be an awful napper. All of a sudden she became a great napper!

4 months is when a regression often happens. olive's sleep got better slowly without sleep training. around 8 months is when it got a lot better because we kinda nap trained (she didn't cry), but her naps lengthened to up to 2 hours.

some babies become better sleepers after 6 months... but some don't!

4 months was a really rough time for us, I thought there was no light at the end of the tunnel, then at 5 months things finally got better. Now at 6.5 months, she just started sleeping through the night on her own like magic.

My LO has never been naturally good at sleeping. During her first month she would only sleep for 1.5 to 2 hours, but it had to be in our arms (and we tried it all i.e. swaddle, shushing, sleep training, pacifier, etc). At 2 months she finally responded to swaddling and began sleeping for longer stretches 4-6 hours (this change happened overnite). At 3.5 months she regressed and began waking up 2-3 times at night. Days after she began rolling over so we stopped swaddling cold turkey, and this only made her sleep worse. Now at 4 months, after sleep training, she still wakes up 1-2 times a night. Im just wondering if theres anybody else in my situation, if so did LO become a better sleeper over time?
