@Sammyfab: that's what my husband keeps reminding me of-we're doing the best we can do! I need a lot of that reminding cuz if something isnt goin well, be it behavior or sleep or food, I feel like I need to be doing something different or better.

My lo is 9 months and he's a picky eater already! I just keep offering a variety of foods and continually offer food that he rejects. It's tiring and worrisome but I don't think there's much else we can do!

Mine is doing that, too! I tried to give her veggies and pieces of fruit, but she didn't want it. She wanted what we had on our plate. As soon as I gave her what was on my plate (including veggies), she chowed down. I'm hoping it continues, but who knows what will happen next week.

Good luck!

My son is the same. He used to eat a good variety of foods because we always offered him everything we ate. Now he wants nothing green on his plate. He eats broccoli after some coercing. He'll eat carrots only done 1 way.
Try offering it to him in different forms maybe? I think I just have to hide it into his food until he gets over his pickiness.

Been there too! I was always proud that my son ate super well...veggies, fruits, cheese..whatever. He gobbled everything up. Then one day, he decided he didn't want broccoli, then carrots, then anything super mushy..then anything green. AGH! I thought I was teaching him to not be a picky eater by feeding him fresh, yummy homecooked food. But nope...they have their own tastes and preferences unfortunately. :(

So sad and frustrating. Things he was eating even up to a week ago are suddenly undesirable: peas, squash, green beans, even sweet potato-one of his favorites!! I'm not doing anything differently prep wise and we have been doing baby led weaning from the start. However one of the things that appealed was trying to avoid a "picky" eater but mealtimes have just been frustrating lately. He gets mad and just spits the veggies out. I'm trying to be casual and figure that if he's hungry he'll eat but boy is it disheartening. He is now only eating cauliflower and broccoli. :( I don't even have a question...just needed to vent.
