My LO didn't, but a friend's baby did. It was so cute to see the look in his face when he did it - so determined and so excited to actually be moving somewhere.

LO did this. She still does it a little bit, but only on the changing table (makes for really easy diaper changes :)) Now she prefers to get around by rolling or spinning on her tummy.

Our LO did this. I credit the baby bjorn bouncer, because the same movement in the bouncer makes him bounce. We were worried that this would be his version of crawling. It only lasted a few weeks and then he started focusing on traditional crawlIng. It was so cute and funny while it lasted!

My DS doesn't do this, but I have a cousin who did this and it was the only way she crawled!

My LO does it! (or a similar variation) She kind of lifts her pelvis up off the ground which causes her to scoot around...just before her nap she scooted herself right into the coffee table! Luckily she didnt hurt herself.

Bumping in case anyone else LO does this. Today she woke herself up from a nap early because she hit her head on the headboard! DH put her low too. Oy oy oy!

The other day, DD discovered "jumping" while laying down resulted in scooting herself around. Now she keeps doing it and at this rate, she'll perfect it soon! Just when the bald spot on the back of her head is finally started growing hair too!

Does/did you LO try to scoot around on his/her back while laying down? Kind of like doing the wave on your back? Or an on your back army crawl? It looks so weird, but she seems like she's having so much fun!
