F gets teething "fevers" often. When there aren't illnesses running around &amp; he's otherwise symptom free we generally send him back the next day and it's okay with daycare. Usually they will say they think it's teething related to but procedure states they have too send the kid home. Then the 24 hour rule is in affect. We gave her infant Tylenol, slept through the night, and was fine the next day. DH went and got her. It was only 100.6F and she doesn't have any other signs of illness. I am pretty sure she's teething. She has a "teething rash" on her cheeks that she got with other teeth (on vacation, day care didn't see), drooly, and I thought I felt a tooth coming in last night.</p> <p>Technically if it is a fever I should keep her home for 24 hours. However, all her other illness related fevers were about 103F. Am I nuts for thinking this isn't an illness? Day care said we could discuss it tomorrow if I want to bring her in. She's a pretty big stickler for rules -- which I like -- so I think she's going to say DD can't come in tomorrow. </p>
