Our daycare will take teething into affect (if she shows other signs of it being the cause.) LO always runs a low grade fever (right at 100) when teething and since she's old enough now our daycare lady doesn't say anything unless she shows other signs of being ill!

We've had that situation a bunch. F gets teething "fevers" often. When there aren't illnesses running around & he's otherwise symptom free we generally send him back the next day and it's okay with daycare. I think he's only been quarantined twice.
It's a huge pain in the butt, especially when they're feeling well!

Daycare has the same policy regarding fevers. Usually they will say they think it's teething related to but procedure states they have too send the kid home. And most times they say if she's fine otherwise we can bring her back the next day.

I would still take her. It definitely sounds teething related to me!

Our day care doesn't send home unless fever is 102 or higher. Then the 24 hour rule is in affect. I would send her today if she wakes up with no fever.

LO had a low temp yesterday, which I assumed was teething and today she had a full blown temp. You might just have to wait and see how it is in the morning.

My LO was teething during Christmas and also had a low grade temp. We gave her infant Tylenol, slept through the night, and was fine the next day. Hope your LO feels better soon!

Bah! That sucks. Similar things have happened to us.

Maybe look on the bright side, you can spend the day at home tomorrow and do some fun stuff?

At 5pm day care texted to say we had to pick LO up because she had a fever. DH went and got her. It was only 100.6F and she doesn't have any other signs of illness. I am pretty sure she's teething. She has a "teething rash" on her cheeks that she got with other teeth (on vacation, day care didn't see), drooly, and I thought I felt a tooth coming in last night.

Technically if it is a fever I should keep her home for 24 hours. However, all her other illness related fevers were about 103F. Am I nuts for thinking this isn't an illness? Day care said we could discuss it tomorrow if I want to bring her in. She's a pretty big stickler for rules -- which I like -- so I think she's going to say DD can't come in tomorrow.
