My 17 month old only has one thing in his crib with him: a stuffed animal. And he's fine with that. I agree with PP to just not go back in if she throws her stuff out of the crib. It's not like she *needs* anything in there with her to sleep.

Our boys do this almost every night. They try to hand things back and forth while they giggle and inevitably everything ends up on the floor. That is where it stays until morning. The only exception is that if it's cold, we go back in after they are asleep and put their blankets back over them.

If it were me I wouldn't have gone back in at all. If she wants to throw everything out, she can deal with the lack of fun things in her crib.

LO did this around 13 months--he would trhow his lovey and paci, and then scream. I finally just started replacing it 1x and then he was out of luck. He stopped doing it shortly after!

I just let her do it. If it's a problem, maybe only let her take 2 or 3 things in with her? My lo throws her stuff out when she wakes up in the morning and we put it all back in after we let her out of her crib.

LO does this when he wakes up or during a time out. I'm hoping it's a phase. If anything, he's confused after it because all of his loveys and blanket aren't in there.

A has been in the phase of throwing everything out of her crib at nap. I made the mistake the first few times of going up there and putting it all back in there, so I'm thinking she knows if she does that I will come back in. Has anyone been through this and have any tips on how to get her to stop doing that, or how I should react in general?
