That's really shocking she was asked to go to the bathroom. </p> <p>I also nursed everywhere with and without a cover, and never got any harassment. I can understand it making some people uncomfortable without a cover, but even then I'd be surprised if the mom was told to go elsewhere. Who the hell wants to be in a amusement park bathroom at all, much less to nurse? If they want to take this policy, they should be required to have multiple comfortable, clean places for mothers to nurse babies located throughout the park. I just don't get why such a big deal is made of nursing! They have pamphlets explaining laws and have staged several nurse ins in situations like the one in this post. I know that they have made a huge difference in the new mom community in regards to feeling comfortable and supported! I was shopping during the day and the store was deserted. I was shopping for home goods, but needed to nurse, so I asked the dressing room attendant if I could use a dressing stall to nurse (mainly because I wanted a seat). She said she would ask the manager, but that I could use the restroom. I watched her go talk to the female manger and then they both came over and told me that the restroom would be the best place for me to nurse. I was so pissed that I simply said "here then" and handed over my full shopping cart and left the store. I probably could have handled it better, but I was so annoyed! Their bathroom is gross and we have the same nursing laws as mentioned above. I could maybe see if the dressing rooms had been busy, but nobody was there and the had 20+ stalls!
