Oh, BTW, I feel kicks and punches all over the place at 24 weeks -- baby flips and flops and swims all around in there. It is the strangest feeling when the somersaults happen. My MW said they don't worry about position until much later and its normal for the baby to shift around a lot this early on.

Sounds like the babe. And dd was heads up until 38 weeks, so the babe doesn't necessarily have to be heads down right now.

I felt a movement around then that was like a cell phone vibrating deep inside. When I felt true kicks about a week and a half later, they were on my left side a couple inches below my belly button. The MWs were surprised I felt anything that early because I have an anterior placenta, but there was no mistaking it at that point.

Could be anywhere at that stage. LO2 changes positions multiple times per day and I'm 24 weeks.

Sounds like a baby, but it might have been an arm, back, leg... they still have a lot of space at that size, so they move around quite a lot.

Sounds like the bebe to me!! I felt my first movement like a fish flopping on top of my bladder... it was so strange. It doesn't necessarily have to be their feet 'kicking' you, it could be an arm or even just squirming around.

They're all over the place at that stage! Plus, you could be feeling punches, also. :)

I am 17 weeks on Sunday and I SWEAR I felt the baby move last night. I was even pressing on that spot only to feel the exactsame response/movement 30 seconds later. Like we were playing a game. Im confused though bc I wasnt feeling them low. I was feeling the bubble pop/slow poke about an inch to two inches below my belly button. I thought they had their feet down at this point. Is it possible? Was I just tired and imagined it? Normally when I feel gas bubbles I feel them moving all the way until they...exit. This was the same feeling in the same spot over and over and at first was a bubble popping feelin and then like a little leg was slowly pushing back against my insides.
