@jocole: I'm in a similar boat. I had a 5 week miscarriage on April one. My cycles have been 35 days since. I'm not even sure if I'm ovulating. Have you had a positive test?

How many months of trying? Starting to get nervous.

Whenever I can get in. But I work full time and they dont really allow all that much time off so I am trying to either find a doctor that can squeeze me in or something else. :/ I really dont know what it is. I was clockwork for a year and a half. Then the chemical was a week early. Nothing but AF fakeouts since.

I'm on CD2 of my first cycle after a chemical - it was 51 days. I know that won't help because yours is so much longer - I'm so sorry for this. When were you thinking of going to check it out with a doctor?

@cokiezombie: we are totally having the same experience!
@sslm: I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Guess we'll all just wait here in limbo until our bodies decide it's time to go again!

I had a miscarriage at 8.5 weeks, so not quite the same bc my hormones would have been higher, but everyone says you'll get your period between 4-6 weeks later. It's been 7 weeks and I think I might be ovulating now. Everyone is different! The woman's body is so frustrating.

I'm sorry for your loss :(

Hi Jocole - im in the same boat as you. I had a chemical in late march (a bfp then subsequent tests became lighter and lighter until my period came a few days later). My cycles range from 30-34 days... And so far i am 3 days late and no sign of AF at all! No symptoms, nada. I took a HPT yesterday and got a BFN, so i just want AF to come so we can look forward to ovulation!
Heres to another month, hang in there!!!

My first cycle after a chemical pregnancy was exactly on time. But you know everyone's different. Maybe wait a bit longer and AF still hasn't come, see your doctor?

@jocole: I don't exactly what's normal for me b/c I was on BC, but my next two cycles after were 35 days and then I got pregnant again. It's prolly like what mamamoose said. Your hcg probably took longer to go back to zero, and you can't ovulate until it reaches zero.

@jocole: I'm sure that's what happened. I can feel myself ovulate so I knew it happened 14 days after I started bleeding. I'm guessing your hcg levels just got higher than mine so it took your body a little longer to get back to normal and you ovulated late. Hang in there!

@mamamoose: We took the month off of TTC (well, at least in theory) and I didn't track anything! So, I don't know. I'm sort of thinking that might be what happened... just a later ovulation.

@mrskc: thanks for sharing. It's nice to hear someone was in a similar boat. Did you go back to normal cycle length after that first long one?

My cycle was actually a couple days shorter after my chemical pregnancy. Do you know if you have ovulated? And if so did it happen late as well?

Hi Ladies,
I had a chemical pregnancy that ended towards the end of March. No interventions needed - my period just came a few days late after a few (well, let's be honest, several) positive pregnancy tests.

My cycle is normally pretty long (35 days or so), but now I'm at CD 42 with no sign of AF. I took another pregnancy test at about day 40 and it was a BFN. I'm just anxious to get through this cycle and back on the TTC train.

Have any of you had experience with a chemical pregnancy? Was your following cycle really loooooooooong?

Thanks all!
