@NovBaby1112: She is teething, but the ped said over 100 is not teething related?

@sapphire: @Smurfette: We just went on Friday. :bummed: Before her nap she was 100.5 and then down to 98.9 a few hours later. It's just so confusing. Will take her again if it goes up again.

I would bring her to the pedi again. Then just stay home for a week till she is better. I think no other germs, relaxing at home in her pjs, and lots of rest she will finally kick it!

Fever for more than 5 days should be investigated. I'd bring her back in (and try not to give her medicine before you bring her.

hmmm...could you have her checked for ear infection again? Sometimes they don't catch it early enough, but it can develop a few days later....my LO has had a fever/cold since Thursday evening. At first it was conjunctivitis, and then it turned into a fever/cough....and long story short, we ended up in the ER yesterday because of her high fever and trouble breathing. They checked her ears and sure enough, ear infection.

Another though is maybe she's just teething and has a fever with it?

K has basically had one cold after another for the past 5+ weeks. I just checked my app and she's had a fever from 100 to 103.5 for the past 9 days. I took her to the doc last week when it was up, but by the time we got there and she had some Motrin, it was back down to 99 something. The doc ruled out pneumonia and an ear infection. Didn't think it was a UTI because the fever seems to come and go. I don't want to keep giving her Tylenol or Motrin round the clock, so I only give it when her temp goes back up.

Anyone experience anything like this?
