They're my favorites!! I nannied some kids and it would take like 30 min. to get through a single book, and there is ton to look at on each page because the illustrations are so detailed. "Blueberries for Sal" is the first one, then "One Morning in Maine" (this one will take a solid 15 minutes or so to read aloud, maybe a little longer), and the final book is "Time of Wonder" which is gorgeous, but clearly written in a more poetic style for older kids (still worth a try with a 3 year-old!). The characters are the same in all three, but the stories take place at different stages of Sal's childhood, so you literally see her grow up. I love McCloskey.
