We're at 1 nap consistently now, but it took closer to 2 months to get the timing right. And he'd still go down at 10:30am if I let him. We're also in the 12:30 - 1 range, and he'll sleep anywhere from 2-3.5 hours. He actually woke pretty regularly in the beginning around the 1.5 hour mark, but Id just let him fuss for a bit and he eventually started going back to sleep. He'll still wake here and there, but typically goes back down without a fuss in a few minutes.

It took us at least two months to consistently get down to one nap. I really just took it day by day following his cues and depending on what we were doing each day. Some days he wanted to crash out earlier and later, others he was only ready for a nap at lunchtime. If he did a later nap, he was never allowed to go back to sleep after 5pm, otherwise he would never go to bed :) We are notorious for not being schedule followers, so that's why I figured it took us longer to get to one nap consistently.

I've been very consistent and have watched T's cues and the clock, and he's up every day around 6:30-7 and I put him down for his nap between 12-1. Same routine every day. Some days takes 30 mins to fall asleep, some days an hour. Some days he cries some days he doesn't. Some days he sleeps 1.5 hours, some days 2, rarely more. Some days wakes up crying after 30 mins, then after another 30 mins, then wakes up crying after another 30 and is done (today). He sleeps a little longer overnight (10.5-11 hours rather than just 10).

He's 15 months old. We've been on one nap for over a month. We moved though (and moved time zones). He's cranky when he sleeps less than 2 hours. But he mostly only sleeps 1.5 hours.

Did it take anyone else's kid this long to transition? Please tell me it gets better. And I swear, this will be my last nap post.
