Mine went hourly until midnight then cried for an hour and a half until I managed to rock her to sleep. Just had to wake her at 3 since now it'd been 4 hours since her last meal. Woke her from a deep sleep and had to convince her to eat but once she got a taste she was excited to eat. I was so tired and thought my nips would fall off. I just tried to remind myself we were both still working on establishing my supply and breast feeding in general. She still cluster feeds at 21 days but not anywhere near as bad as that 7-10 day stretch. Honestly I wouldn't worry about pumping yet- wait until this growth spurt is over and try again. I only did it once and it wasn't great- c woke up right after I finished and was so pissed I didn't have a big meal ready for her. Charlie is 9 days old, and today was the most miserable day ever. She nursed continually from the moment she woke up until 8pm, most of it had to be comfort nursing but wow that was quite the experience. The older 2 totally took advantage of that. Now Maddy is in her crib screaming and won't go to sleep, but Charlie is sound asleep. </p> <p>I really wanted to try pumping today, but I think I'm empty and I just drank a glass of wine to relieve a little stress. </p>
