We have family about 3-4 hours away, so I've made the drive alone every 1-2 months by myself since LO was 2 months old. It was actually easier when she was an infant, as she slept more. Entertaining a toddler is trickier. I just budget in a 45 min to 1 hr break every 2 hours and that allows her a break from the car seat. We took her on a 12 hour car drive in September &amp; she's really good in the car but I loathe being in the car for extended periods of time so I get a lot of guilt when I make her be in the car for awhile. It was a nightmare. So now I'm terrified of driving with him alone for longer than 30 minutes or so. Granted I only go into that office about 1x a week.
