But I use silicone cups to deal with that. The best part is being able to throw it in the dishwasher and not feel bad about it. We were using the safe 2 sippee for a while but te straw and top were plastic even though the bottle itself was steel! Well I just bought the think baby steel bottle and they sell a straw cup top.
