If it gets past CD45 I'd call your doctor. Then 6 months later I found out I was pregnant!</p> <p>I totally understand how you feel though bc with each long cycle I got more paranoid that something was up with my hormones, etc. For me though, and maybe for you, even long cycles after BC are not necessarily a sign something is wrong.</p> <p>My doctor had initially told me to give my body a year of trying to conceive naturally before introducing any intervention. I went off birth control months in advance of when we wanted to start trying, so I wasn't too concerned about waiting that long. The night before I had my appointment, I started my period. This is CD 36 for me, no AF in sight. I have taken pg tests, all negative, so I think it's just a long/wonky cycle off BC.</p> <p>I'm not concerned yet, because I know some people go much longer without AF their first month off BC. Is there a time when you called your gyn for a shot to start your period? How long did you wait? Did your gyn advise you just to keep waiting? I'm just wondering if I get to, say, CD 45 with no AF, should I call... I don't know. </p>
