And I adore toddler "jumping." Lorelei does it, too. She can kind of skip... Like sometimes she'll alternate feet and say she's jumping but it's only one foot at a time. I'd be tickled pink if she ended up writing. We are really curious to see what she ends up loving. She isn't quite as focused as Ellie was at the same age. She definitely loves to collect words, though. And I am now sold on the power of the older sibling-- Ellie has helped expose Lorelei to so much, and Lorelei seeing Ellie know or do something makes her want to be able to, as well. Like calling Freckles "Frecklesy-doodah" and telling the lady at Dairy Queen (where we were getting ice for the ride home), "My vagina is private to me. Ellie's is also private.
