@zippylef: she is 11.5 months old. I think our LOs are similar in age.

@HLK208: @tysonja: it has only been rough for me because DH can't be near LO for a few more days so he has been sleeping in the guest room! These regressions are killing me. At first i allowed the 3am nursing because i had mommy guilt from daycare and her appetite had decreased but i now know she eats A LOT.

you mentioned that she doesnt take a bottle at daycare. is she there for most of the day? perhaps she is doing that 'reverse cycling' thing i've heard about? I hope it gets better for you guys soon! you're an awesome mama :)

For the last two weeks, LO has been waking up at 3am. DH would rock her and put her down and she would go to sleep. For almost a week now, she will cry and cry (screaming, actually) until i go to nurse her and that will be the only way she will fall asleep.

This week i had enough and on sunday i let her cry for almost 2 hours (with me going in to comfort her but she would just squirm out of my arms and it was just an exhausting battle). On monday she woke up at 4:30, cried a bit but went back to sleep before crying again at 5. I figured 5am was reasonable enough so i nursed her and she fell asleep. Last night she woke up at 2:30!!! I tried rocking her after letting her cry for 30 minutes, but she just wouldn't fall asleep. I got so tired swaying that i sat in my rocker but then she wanted to nurse. I gave in, and finally she went to bed at 4am.

Bees, i am dying!!! Why is she suddenly regressing? Could it be daycare? She doesn't take a bottle at daycare and i nurse her in the morning, after she comes home from daycare and before bedtime.
