My LO has had quite a few allergic reactions to certain foods, but luckily it would go away within a few hours. We've never used it before, though (we've eaten Heinz and different organic brands). As far as I know, she's not allergic to anything! Now I might consider getting her allergy tested...So scary!</p> <p>@mrbee: Telehealth in Ontario (I think they have it in all provinces in Canada) is a free telephone service. You can call and speak directly to a registered nurse to determine your next steps (self medicate, visit doctor, go to hospital, etc.) It's really awesome. We tried a new brand of cereal today and immediately after her second bite her face and hands broke out into hives - her face was sooooo puffy! Hubs ran out to get baby Benadryl and I called Telehealth. Luckily her breathing was fine and she was acting like her normal self - it was just her face and itchiness.</p> <p>Allergies are scary things! I think I aged 5 years. </p>
