Sometimes he'll cry the entire time, sometimes he's totally fine. If there's a lollipop involved he's usually TOTALLY fine. He won't even care about the ipod once the haircut starts. He just doesn't like having his head moved to and fro. We have a great barber though. I mean seriously how does anyone expect a 2 year old to sit still for 15 minutes while someone is wetting, combing and cutting your hair? We brought every toy and book imaginable. But he wasn't having it. Until I pulled out my iphone (gotta love the iphone) and he settled down a bit. We had to pause a few times to get him settled back down again but overall, I think he did fairly well! He got a sticker that said "I got a haircut!" and we got a certificate with a lock of his hair in a small pouch as a keepsake.</p> <p>Have you taken your LO to get his/her first haircut at a salon? How did it go? </p>
