DS definitely gets injuries from running around almost every day, but the most recent bigger one was when he tripped and fell, hitting his mouth on the corner of the coffee table. Thankfully he didn't lose any teeth, but it looked pretty painful. He was over it in five minutes, of course.

He's also had nursemaid elbow! About a month ago. We had no idea if it was dislocated, sprained, or what, so we took him to urgent care. Two hours later, he got an x-ray and he was fine as soon as it was over. The doc thinks it popped back into place during the x-ray. Toddlers are rough!

DS fell down about 6 stairs and mashed up his face, no other injuries thankfully.

My kids know how to open the freezer and get ice packs for their own injuries. This happens at least three or four times a day, usually with my daughter acting as nurse because my son is the one crying. As for major injuries? Last one was when my daughter did a dive toward the floor and caught her cheek on the side of my metal trash can in my office. She was chasing her brother. It's been over a month and there's still a slight discoloration on her cheek. My son's always getting nasty bruises. Never sure where they come from - I always get convoluted stories about something that happened months ago.

DS has taken to biting his cheek or lips a lot lately, but as far as major injuries, it'd have to be running/crashing into another toddler who was way bigger than him at the splash pad. Scraped up the side of his face a bit near his eye.

This shiner for DS (he knocked heads with a friend when they were running around)

DD tipped the umbrella stroller and scraped her forehead but I don't think I have a picture.

My son slipped on a cat bed and scraped his face down the fireplace screen before banging the bridge of his nose on the stone hearth. It was a perfect storm of disasters.

My toddler gets hurt daily, seriously. She's a total klutz and a maniac, so combined it makes a mess. Her last "serious-ish" injury was a few weeks ago, she tripped and hit her chin hard, biting through her lip.

My oldest is almost four and aside from scrapes and bruises, she had nursemaid's elbow this past winter (for the second time!).
