@agold: thank you! I really wanted to add curtains to the windows and kept buying and taking curtains back. When I finally found two more “perfect” ones to try DH said to back away. At least I know where to start when it’s time to make the room a big boy room.

The bunching down doesn’t bother me comfort wise- maybe because I’m short, but it totally irks me to see it. I am constantly taking the cushion off, shaking it out, and plopping it back down. I wasn’t an ottoman type person until I got the Monte. Literally, that ottoman influenced two additional purchases where I can put my feet up. :silly: The Monte ottoman moves and it makes rocking (gliding) so much more enjoyable. It’s the perfect height to go along with the chair, which was the deciding factor to buy it. We figured if we ended up sleeping in the chair this would be the best way to ensure ultimate comfort. I also like that it’s really sturdy and makes a great seat when LO is possessive about sitting in his glider solo.

Yes, the triangle stacker is Grimm. I think the pole is supposed to be permanent. However, when LO was really little we were nervous with him playing with it and poking his eye out. DH took out the pole and there was a blob of glue on it. When LO got the concept of stackers better we put the pole back in and it’s very secure. The only way I know we every took it apart is the top triangle end cap, if you will, has a little space between the next triangle.

ETA: ok, that was a novel.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I love your LO's nursery! Its perfect. I love the window wall. I have the same glider as you. Do you find that the back cushion bunches down? I have to use the little pillow up top to support my head. Its otherwise so comfortable. I don't have the ottoman but am considering getting it. Do you love the ottoman? Its so expensive. And then is one of your stackers by the "grimm" company? I'd love to get one and want to know if the center pole is permanently fixed to the base.

@wrkbrk: that is so nice of you!! I’m over here in disbelief that the time came so soon. We tried to get LO to show us how he did it because the monitor was pointed at the glider and not his crib. LO was not giving up the secrets though.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: That's young! But it looks great. DS is 25 months and has never tried climbing out so we probably have a bit of time. But I have never seen a converted toddler bed look as sleek as yours!

@wrkbrk: thank you. LO is 20 months old. He completely shocked us by climbing out of his crib one evening  , which meant it was time to convert it for safety purposes. We were definitely not ready to give up the crib. He loves getting in and out of his bed on his own.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: That looks beautiful! Super impressive! How old is your LO? I especially love the look of the toddler bed. We will be converting our crib in the next six months. Gulp!

I posted some pics of LO's room on Project Nursery over the holidays. With moving and all when LO was born the room turned out to be alot different than what I initially planned given my indecisiveness coupled with DH's input after LO arrived. :silly:
