She may still be a little young, but the Usborne I Can Draw books look pretty good. I was just looking at them for my niece before the holidays.

Has she tried painting? I'd introduce watercolors. Cleanup isn't quite as involved with those.

My daughter is the same way! For Christmas she got big stencils that are awesome, so she can trace a shape, say a dog, and then color it in. She loves them!

I bought my son several doodle pads, I don't know the official name for them, but they've got some preprinted designs on the page, like a window or a dinner plate and you fill it in. It's sparked some interest outside of his standard things he draws on his own. His favorite medium seems to be markers, I think he likes it best because he gets the boldest colors from it.

I also provide a lot of stuff that can be used for collage, my son has kind of moved away from coloring and drawing to more dimensional work, so he uses things like tissue paper, washi tape, cardboard.

I used to love those pencils/pens that had more than one color. Like these: https://www.amazon.com/Towallmark-Rainbow-Colored-Pencils-Stationery/dp/B00ZZMRZY2/

I should probably go grab some for DS now that I remember them!

We gave our 4 year old a drawing pad notebook from Target (it's about 8.5x11) for Christmas. She loves it. It's always out and available to write on. It's spiral bound and was like $3.

Oh and we got her a $1 pencil case and put new coloring pencils and crayons in there. She keeps this with the notebook and it works out well.

What materials do you give them to keep things interesting?

My 4 year old draws/colors all the time, on regular white paper or in coloring books. She has markers, crayons, colored pencils and dot markers. I feel like I should get her something more to expand her collection, since she is drawing SO much. What are some fun items I could get specifically for drawing/coloring?
