I was just wondering the same thing. My LO is almost 7 months and we started solids at 6 months...we started at once at dinner time (around 5:00) and now we are feeding her twice a day. This is her approximate schedule:

7:00 - wake up and nurse
7:30 - solids
10:30 - nurse
1:30 - nurse
4:30 - nurse
5:00 - solids
6:00 - bedtime (top off nursing)

@Rubies: mostly fruits (bananas, strawberries, grapes, pears, etc), brown rice cake, nori, graham crackers

@artbee: I only recently dropped my LO's nap time bottles. He was originally drinking 4 bottles a day (morning, 2 nap, bedtime). I saw that he was eating more than enough solids and dropped the bottles cold turkey. It was a surprisingly easy transition.

My LO still drinks her bottle a lot. When she wakes up, after each nap, and then before bed. I didn't know we were supposed to start slowing down on that..... her doctor said that she still gets most of her nutrients from the formula so keep feeding it to her.

She just eats her breakfast, lunch, and dinner when I do, which is around 8, 12, and 5:30.

LO doesn't always wake up at the same time so breakfast is usually an hour after wake up.
lunch is 4 hours after that. Dinner is at 5pm.

Wake up: 7 am, morning bottle
Breakfast: 8 am
Lunch: 12 pm
Dinner: 6 pm
Sleep: 8 pm, bedtime bottle

I have no idea if we're doing it right, but this seems to work for us. My LO eats snacks in the afternoon to get him through his 2nd nap until dinner.

What time does your LO have his/her meals? Can someone tell me if I'm doing it right (like there's a real answer, right?)

Wake up 7am: Nursing
8am: Breakfast
Noon: Lunch
4pm: Dinner
6pm: Nursing for bedtime

Essentially, LO's meals are every 4 hours. Does this seem right? Should her dinner be closer to bed time?
