Yep, our first was such a loud sleeper we moved her out of our room at 6 weeks and neither of us could sleep. Our second is almost 13 weeks and she is starting to get loud, so after this weekend it's time to move her to her crib.

My baby being a loud sleeper and me being a light sleeper is a bad combo! I know I would get much better sleep if I put her in her own room but I am not ready for that yet.. It is tough!

She was noisier as a newborn with her barnyard animal sounds. But the leg thrashing is very loud and rhythmic! I thought someone with bass was doing drive bys of our house the other night with all the thumping from the other room.

Yes, they were both loud so we had them in their own rooms by the 1 month mark.

I also had to move M out of our room around 6 weeks (plus he was too long for the bassinet/PNP) because he was such a loud sleeper and I'm such a light sleeper! I slept so much better after that! Oh and I don't keep the video monitor on at night since I can hear him if he cries (one story house, he sleeps in the next room over....and I'm a light sleeper, like seriously....light sleeper!). I could also hear him slamming his legs when he was in that stage, and now that he's 11 months he loves to stand up and pound on the walls... so no need for the monitor :silly:

I mentioned this to the ped when LO was 4 months old and he was all "well then why heck is she still in your room?". Off to her crib she went and we all slept better.

@MrsF: It's good to find someone with my same problem :) Although I have the monitor on my side. The white noise in their rooms blocks out all of their little noises :)

@FaithFertility: The monitor has been on my DH's side of the bed for 2.5 years! When they were newborns I even had white noise on my side because the little noises made me so anxious. I may have a problem :silly:

Yes, I just posted about this the other day. My almost 5 week old grunts ALL.NIGHT.LONG. I've started going to bed 20 mins before her and DH because I absolutely cannot fall asleep with the noise! She's not going to be in our room much longer!

Yeah - this is why both of my kids have been in their own rooms by 8 weeks. Babies are such noisy sleepers and I feel so anxious every time I hear them move!

Anyone else have a loud sleeping baby?
DD is 6 months old still in pnp in our room..so I hear it all
She slams her legs on the mattress which in a pnp is loud
Rolls
Blows bubbles
Snores
Pets mesh sides
All in her sleep.......lol
