I've always regretted it and bring it up every once in a while. </p> <p>My husband recently bought a bow for deer hunting and I am totally not into it. He came in last night and said even though I said I didn't want a bow he found a really good deal on one and he wanted to get me one anyway and then he handed me a cello bow! He bought me a cello and hid it upstairs. I'm sure you were shocked when your friends and family started receiving their cards!!</p> <p>While it's not the same...my favorite Christmas memory was when we were living in Maryland and went to Christmas Eve Mass. I think my brother and I were 8 and 10 or close to those ages. When we went into mass, it was dark and cold. When we left, all happy and joyous from a beautiful service, it was snowing. Big, beautiful flakes falling from the sky. That was the one and only time it ever snowed on Christmas Eve in our 20-something years in MD and it started during that mass. About 5 years ago, I went to the effort of writing, addressing, and stuffing about 50 Christmas cards (from me and DH). I had them in a shopping bag all ready to go (minus being stamped....I hadn't purchased those yet). Well, I inadvertently left them inside of an ATM kiosk near work. By the time I realized that I had left them there, they were gone. But guess what? All of my cards were mailed and received by my friends and family. Someone found them and actually took the effort to buy stamps for them and mail them!!! Isn't that amazing? I thought about calling the local news or writing a letter to a newspaper and never did....but wish I did.</p> <p>Do you have a really sweet holiday story to share? </p>
