It was ripped down the middle many years ago so it's always been kept inside. That and my pillow that I've had forever! I don't actually use my pillow to sleep but I like knowing it is there with Pokey inside. I called it my "yellow blankie." I was super original. Lol. I'm probably going to hand it down to whoever is my first kid! I like that it's yellow so it's gender neutral. I remember when it was the *perfect* size to fit under my chin and cover my toes. I have what Rob Sr. calls my "banky" which is just a comforter with a cotton duvet from Ikea that I got in college. It somehow got softer and softer as the years went by and it is the perfect softness now. I put it under my side of the blanket and sleep kind of swaddled in it. I have to wear short sleeves and short pants so I can feel the fabric against my skin.</p> <p>I'm getting really worried because I had a matching pillowcase and since it's so low quality, it basically fell apart into threads. The blanket duvet is starting to wear thin in places and I know its lifespan is coming to an end.... I have this HUUUUGE blanket that my grandma made me when I was a baby... we still use it! I brought it every place I lived during college and after when I had my own place.. even now, DH and I use it during the winter months. I sleep with it as often as I can! I still touch the soft side of it as I'm laying in bed, it helps me fall asleep and I'm 28 years old! </p>
