I started giving it to him during our naptime routine. He would rub it all over his face while I read some books. We still use it for the wind down and now it goes in the crib with him for naps and bedtime. Since DH and I shared drop-off/pick-up it initially started with just being in her carseat but then shifted to being with her during naps at daycare. They all called it the "magic blanket". </p> <p>He still uses it for naptime and bedtime (but doesn't suck his fingers anymore). Now any time I check the monitor at night, she is snuggling with her loveybear (thats her name...original huh?) It was gifted to us by my boss in a gift basket, and its the first thing she really took to. She's a thumb sucker and gets her comfort there. But I don't want to deprive her of a lovey. </p>
