When I was pregnant with LO, my BP was 80/40 a few times and consistently around 90/50 up until the end. I was just told to drink loads and listen to my body - if I started feeling lightheaded, sit down and take a break. Also, not to get up too fast and not let myself get too hungry. It worked as I never really had any issues, although I've had low BP my entire life, so I may just be used to it.

My blood pressure has always been low - especially during pregnancy. Like others have mentioned, just hydrate (a lot!), have a snack, and don't stand up suddenly.

that's my normal BP - are you low to begin with?
when i entered my second trimester, i often felt really lightheaded and dizzy, especially if i got up too fast. it's gotten better though, and my bp is slightly higher now, although still well within the low range. definitely try to eat more snacks, like apples or celery with peanut butter, boiled eggs with a piece of toast, etc. - don't go too long without having a few bites here and there!

My BP is typically on the lower end of the "normal" range, but this happens to me a lot. Low BP runs in my family, and I often feel faint and/or lightheaded. Water helps sometimes, as does a snack, but not always. I'm worried that it's going to get worse as the pregnancy progresses. I'm sorry you're not feeling well!

I have low blood pressure and sugar. When i was pregnant, i stayed super hydrated and ate throughout the day. That seemed to help with the dizziness.

My bp has been low my entire life. When I was pregnant I stayed super hydrated--drank about a gallon of water or more a day & always carried a little piece of candy or juice to give me a boost if I started to feel like I was going to faint or felt like it was dropping.

My blood pressure was always pretty low, and I agree with pps, stay hydrated (I had a water bottle in my purse), and have an emergency snack.

I have low blood pressure and low blood sugar so I make sure to drink plenty of water and always have a "safety snack" in my bag.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

I have super low bp all the time, last doc appt it was 92/60 and I just got told to ensure I am drinking enough. No idea what it realllly has to do with it, but I know I don't drink enough ever!

This happens to me all the time! I have chronically low blood pressure. The best thing for me is stay super hydrated! Hydration helps keep your blood moving better.

It's happened to me a couple times and typically lasted a couple hours. What helped immensely was getting a snack. It helped to dissipate the lightheaded dizzy feeling.

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and today was speaking with a client when all of a sudden I felt hot, sweaty and very light headed and like I was going to faint. I went outside and made it to a bench to sit on and felt so sick. I checked my BP and it was 86/58 with a pulse of 96.

The midwife said it's a fairly normal part of pregnancy, especially around this time. I now have a killer headache and still don't feel that great.

Did anyone else have this? Any thing to help? How long did it last?
