@meadow: plain greek yogurt - add stevia and cocoa powder or some frozen fruit or sugar free jam. If you have one of those frozen yogurt makers, throw it in there.
It's not super low in sugar, but it's reasonable and high in protein.

I don't know exactly what diet. Her doctor told her high protein low carb to help manage PCOS and some weight issues.

IDK if you have come up with something already, but here is a post with ideas:

If you get back to me on what type of diet she adheres to, I may be of more help.

Would you happen to know what kind of diet? With a gluten free diet, paleo and the whole30, individuals can have fruit (in which a small fruit basket would be nice). In a ketogenic diet, most fruit is prohibited (so a fruit basket would not work). If you enjoy giving chocolates, there are tons of ketogenic chocolates (* Check out Trader Joe's and Amazon) and chocolate "fat bombs." Another idea would be to look up keto desserts ... many use Almond Flour (muffins, cakes/cupcakes, candy, etc can all be made using AF which is low carb) or avocado (chocolate or peanut butter avocado mousse is delicious!). If you do not wish to bake something low-carb, a homemade basket with a gourmet cheese, almond crackers, and nuts (walnuts, almonds, pistachios) is always a favorite gift of mine (as I am on a keto diet for seizure management while I am TTC and will continue until after I give birth.).
Good luck finding something special for your friend! 😁

I have a friend on a low carb, high protein diet. Anyone have any yummy "treat" ideas or recipes I could buy/make for her? My usual go to is to give someone a fancy chocolate bar or lindor truffles or something to say thank you for something or on a holiday and she has kindly indicated she can't eat them....

Thanks!
