My low papp-a numbers caused no issues at all during the pregnancy, and my daughter was born at 39 weeks 3 days, very healthy and a nice size (7 pounds 12 ounces). </p> <p>I did end up taking the baby aspirin and stopped at 36 weeks. My RE suggested it after multiple losses and because my bloodwork showed a blood clotting problem. My doc suggest low dose aspirin until 33 weeks in case there was a clotting disorder. (as well as progesterone). I had low Papp-A numbers during my first trimester blood screen, and the doctors said taking a baby aspirin each day could possibly help avert potential complications, but it hasn't been entirely proven (they essentially left the decision up to me). </p> <p>I'm torn on what to do - ideally I wouldn't take a medication during pregnancy, especially if it might not help with anything, but if it might help I would want to take it. Very eager to hear other people's experiences with this! </p>
