@gotkimchi: that makes complete sense... thank you for framing it in that way.

@cyoung: thank you for sharing your experience. It does sound like it’s safe, just worry about how it will affect/change me.

If your pediatrician and psych day it's safe then it probably is. I'm not on this med but I'm on abilify. Abilify however is not safe no matter the dose and I can not breastfeed. It transfers through breast milk and can make baby lethargic. We just formula fed to be safe.

@Autumnmama79: im assuming you’d take a low dosage before bed? Let’s say you take it and hate it you just stop right? Let’s say you take it and it really helps?

@gotkimchi: Thank you for your reply. I don't enjoy drinking anymore because I feel not in control and I worry so much about not feeling like me if I take this medication.

@Autumnmama79: I’ve seen it used in breastfeeding women and it can be very helpful for certain symptoms. As always nothing is better for a baby then a healthy mom so don’t be afraid to try it

Does anyone have any experience or insight? This was brought up to me today as an option but it’s a foreign concept to me and I’m looking for more information (besides dr google!) The psych did share that it is safe, but still I’m ultra cautious.

TIA
