My husband and I have been rockin' it w/o contraception for about a year now and have not really had any signs that we could have been pregnant. There was one month when I was 3 days late but I was traveling when AF was due and then got it as soon as I got home, so I think it was the stress of travel.</p> <p>We did not try for the first few months of this year because we were planning a South Florida vacation and didn't want to have to cancel it if we got pregnant and Zika ended up being locally transmitted there. But looks that that still hasn't happened so we should be all good in that respect.</p> <p>I was actually ovulating while we were on vacation but we were staying w/ friends &amp; family while down there and I wasn't comfortable makin' it in that situation. We gave it a shot when we got home, with the focus more on being intimate than trying to conceive per se.</p> <p>It would be funny if we did get pregnant the one month that we were kinda "meh" about it. On Saturday my friend texted me (out of the blue, from 3,000 miles away) and said "Are you pregnant?" I asked why and she said she "had a feeling." This is a person who has always had great intuition, she can tell if someone is a jerk after meeting them once, can anticipate when people are going to fall in love, etc. </p> <p>The fact that I was "feeling pregnant" and that she texted me with that question really got me thinking that I could be. I took a test today, 12 days after unprotected sex and 2 days until my period is expected. It showed an extreeeemely faint line... I took a pic and upped the contrast on my computer and it's still very light.</p> <p>Have any of you had a similar experience, particularly with the tightness or pressure in the abdomen? Or with a very faint possibly positive test? I know I need to wait at least two more days to see if I miss my period, but I am just so anxious to find out! </p>
