And a large LeSportsac duffle bag, that is usually my carry-on and most of her important stuff. We pack everyone's stuff in as few pieces as possible. If we don't use the duffle, I pack it in the suitcase and it's been really useful to have as an additional piece if we needed to have another piece coming home. I have managed to put a weekends worth of stuff for the three of us into one carry on sized suitcase. For long trips (we did almost 1 month this summer) everyone had their own suitcase, DS's was huge since I brought diapers, mine was carry on sized. For one week, DS and I share a large suitcase and DH has his own carry on sized suitcase.
